Bruce Camp's Local Fishing Report Sept. 1st edition

The retirees fished Lake Hickory last week and results were a little better than in past visits. Larry Melton and George Crosswhite picked up the win with 7.55. They also had big bass of the day with a 2.90 largemouth. There was a tie for second between the team of Fred Wright/David O’Shield and soloist Ronnie Humphries. Both brought in  7.15. This week the retirees head back to Lake Norman and change the hours to 7am til 1pm.
MOSS
Twenty one boats made the trip for Thursday nights weekly bass tournament on Moss Lake. And Larry Melton made it a good week as he picked up the win with 9.42. A tie for second between Larry Denton/Larry Weathers and Richard McAbee, fishing solo. Both had 3.20. Matt Arey and Bryan Thrift had 2.70 and took fourth. Big bass was a 3.20 largemouth brought in by Richard McAbee.
