Liberty - Bryan Franklin Childers, 49, of 880 North Old Pendleton Road, passed away on Friday, October 16th, 2026 at Prisma Health Greenville Memorial Hospital.

Born in Gaffney, he was the husband of Samantha Marchbanks Childers and the son of Linda Martin Childers and the late Barry Franklin Childers. He was employed by R & M Trucking and was a member of Lighthouse Baptist Church of Blacksburg. He was a US Army veteran and served overseas in Kosovo and Afghanistan.

In addition to his wife and mother, Bryan is survived by his children, Clayton Childers (Shawnda), Bryce Childers, Mikey Childers, Lydia Childers, Abby Childers, Logan Moffitt, and Conner Moffitt; his brother, Shane Childers (Jennifer); his sister, Leah Brown (Chucky); and several nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends on Thursday, October 22, 2026 from 3:00-4:00 pm at Lighthouse Baptist Church, 241 Oak Grove Road, Blacksburg, SC. Funeral services will follow at 4:00 pm at the church with Rev. Grady Gregory, Rev. Scott Suttle, and Mr. Shane Childers officiating. Clayton Childers, Bryce Childers, Logan Moffitt, Conner Moffitt, Jackson Childers, Eli Childers, Dylan Knecht, Blayne Spearman, Tyler Marchbanks, and Charlie Childers will serve as pallbearers.

The family will be at their respective homes.
