Mr. Carl Dean Hayes, 66, of Runyan Road, Grover, NC, passed away Saturday, June 19, 2010. A Memorial Service was held at the gravesite of his mother in Grover Cemetery. 

Mr. Hayes was preceded in death by his parents, Thie Edgar Hayes and Iva Belle Wilkie Hayes; 5 brothers; and 3 sisters.

He is survived by his wife, Ann Henson Hayes of the home; 2 sons, Thomas Hollifield and Ronald Dean Hayes, both of Grover; 1 daughter, Debra Larro and husband Dale of Grover; 1 brother, Ray Hayes and wife Barbara of Mississippi; 4 sisters, Lula Townsend of Hickory, NC, Mayola Blanton of Kings Mountain, NC, and Beulah Houser and Elvie Allen, both of Grover, NC; 3 grandchildren; and 1 great-granddaughter.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to: Cecil M. Burton Funeral Home to help defray funeral expenses.
