The 4 x 100  relay team for Carolina’s Track and Field won the national championship in that event at the USA Master’s track and field meet in Berea, Ohio.  They also set a new American record with a time of 53.52 seconds.  Pictured are team members are Toccata Murphy, Ann Sluder, Kris Kazebe, and Cleveland County’s Melanie Walker,  with coach Gordon Edwards.  All four runners
