It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved mother, Carolyn A. Greene Harris, 86, while she was at VIA Health Partners - Hospice of Wendover, Shelby, NC. She was born to the late Albert Greene and Catherine Scruggs Greene in Cleveland County. She is also predeceased by her husband of 59 years, Clyde R. Harris.

Left to cherish her memory are her daughters, Cheryl (Tim) Griffin and Dawn (Ritchie) Alexander; grandchildren, Jessica Alexander, Brittany (Matt) McCurry, Amber Alexander, Tyler Hunt, Alyssa Enouni (Simo), Sydney Alexander, and Camden Alexander; 11 great-grandchildren.

Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 pm on Saturday, April 18, 2026 at Trinity Baptist Church, 746 Trinity Church Road, Mooresboro, NC 28114. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service. Interment will be immediately following the service at Trinity Baptist Cemetery.

During her lifetime, Carolyn worked at Artex in Boiling Springs and Cone Mills, Cliffside. She attended Trinity Baptist Church and ministered to the Babies and Toddlers in the nursery for over 20 years. She was an avid Bowler, loved her Duke Men's Basketball and Atlanta Braves. She was former owner of the Children's Shoppe consignment in Boiling Springs. She will remain in our hearts forever.
