Catherine “Kitty” Wunsch Simmons, born 2/14/1915 in Cambridge, MA departed this world on Thursday, May 16 at Cleveland Pines Nursing Center.  Kitty was the daughter of the late William Frederick and Mary Gunn Wunsch of West Lebanon, NY, and was a nurse for many years at Massachusetts General Hospital and Sims Medical Center. She was preceded in death by her husband, Phillip Simmons of South Easton, MA and son, Charles Henry Tuttle of Denver, CO, sisters Barbara, Gretchen, and Hilda, and brother Henry. She is survived by two sons, William Tuttle of North Pole, AK and Marc and wife Jo Tuttle of Shelby, NC; six grandchildren Charles, Michael and George Tuttle of Denver, CO, Catherine Tuttle of Fairbanks, AK, Marcus Tuttle and wife Catherine of Raleigh, NC, and Matthew Tuttle of Charlotte, NC; five great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.

The family would like to express their appreciation to the staff of Cleveland Pines Nursing Center and Hospice Cleveland County for the loving care they provided.

A private memorial service will be at the Cemetery of The Evergreens in Lebanon Springs, NY at a later date.
