CCC offers Small Business seminars in Kingstown and Shelby

The Small Business Center at Cleveland Community College is making a special offering to entrepreneurs and small business owners or potential small business owners. You may select either one of 2 FREE seminars on the same day, Thursday, November 3.
The first will be a seminar in Kingstown at the Kingstown Town Hall at 5:30P.M. The topic of this seminar is "How to Write a Business Plan." A business plan can be the most important tool a small business owner has. You will learn how to turn your ideas into a solid plan for financing and long-term success.
At 6:00P.M. on the same day, there will be a seminar at the LeGrand Center in Shelby. The topic of this seminar is "Insurance--Business Risk Management." All aspects of insurance as it relates to small business will be covered. It will include a general discussion of liability and property insurance, bonding and workmen's compensation insurance, life and health insurance, and retirement planning.
"We want to give all Cleveland County entrepreneurs and business owners an opportunity to improve their potential for success," said Steve Padgett, Director of the Small Business Center.
