Celebrate Girl Scout Week!
Turning 101 this year, Girl Scouts has grown to 3.2 million members and is known as the premier girl leadership organization in the nation. “Girl Scout Week is an opportunity to celebrate the long and proud history of Girl Scouting,” said Marcia Cole, chief executive officer of GSCP2P. “It is also an opportunity to thank the countless number of volunteers in our community who give so much to Girl Scouting all year long. With their support, we are able to continue to offer girls the encouragement, guidance and resources they need to develop their leadership skills.” During Girl Scout Week,(March 10-16) Girl Scouts of all ages celebrate by demonstrating leadership and commitment in ways that have a real impact on their communities.During the week GSCP2P will have several young girls participating in the North Carolina Governor Page program in Raleigh.
