Charlotte Hetzel Wright, 61, passed away on Thursday, August 30, 2012 at Hospice Cleveland County Wendover.  A native of Davidson County, she is the daughter of Trilba Bridges Ellis and the late Bruce Hetzel.  She is also preceded in death by her step-father Robert Wade and her mother-in-law and father-in-law, Grady and Madge Gantt Wright.  Charlotte was of the Baptist Faith.  She was a Registered Nurse and worked throughout her career in the ICU unit of Cleveland Regional Medical Center, taught Nursing at Isothermal Community College and Gardner-Webb University, worked for Cleveland County Health Department and volunteered at Hospice Cleveland County.

Mrs. Wright is survived by her husband, Joe Wright; her mother, Trilba Bridges Ellis and husband Bill of Grover; sisters, Rhonda Huggins of Leadville, CO and Vickie Carroll of Shelby.

A celebration of life service will be held at 3:00pm on Tuesday, September 4, 2012 at the Chapel of Cecil M. Burton Funeral Home and Crematory.  The family will receive friends from 2:00 – 3:00pm prior to the service at the funeral home.  Burial will be at Zion Baptist Church Cemetery.  At other times the family will be at the home of Trib and Bill Ellis, 122 Bethlehem Church Road in Grover.
