Mrs. E. Christine W. Costner, 86, of Shelby, NC, passed away, Thursday, July 8, 2010. Services were held at Stamey Funeral Home Chapel. Burial followed in Rose Hill Memorial Park. 

Mrs. Costner was preceded in death by her parents, Samuel Monroe Warlick and Nancy Elizabeth Warlick; 2 half-sisters, Hattie Beathea and Lela Kistler; and 1 half-brother, Oscar Warlick.

She is survived by her husband of 62 years, Willie G. Costner of the home; 1 son, Dennis Costner and wife Pat of Huntersville; 1 daughter, Susan Hubbard and husband Keith of Shelby; 3 grandchildren; 2 step-grandchildren; her twin brother, Samuel Eugene Warlick and wife Naomi of Shelby; 4 nieces; 2 nephews, a number of great nieces and nephews and great-great nieces and nephews; and numerous cousins.

Stamey Funeral Home, Fallston, NC is serving the family.
