It is with great sadness we announce that our beloved husband, father, grandfather, and brother, Christopher Eric Toney, 53, passed away on Wednesday, June 24, 2026 surrounded by his loving and devoted family. He was born in Rutherford County, NC to Nancy Hudson Toney and the late Ronnie Toney.

He is survived by sons, Braxton Toney, wife Brooklyn, Eric Toney, wife Danielle and Dylan Toney, girlfriend Courtney Williams; daughter, Emily Cox; grandchildren, Bo, Remi, Annabelle, Gaige and Easton Toney; brothers, Dwayne Toney; sisters, Tina Hodge, husband Chris and Kim Hoyle, husband Brian; mother, Nancy Hudson.

Christopher was a member of Ross Hill Baptist Church. During his lifetime, he enjoyed fishing, hunting and cars. He loved spending time with his family, especially with his grandchildren. He will truly be missed by many.

A Funeral Service will be held at 3:00 pm on Saturday, June 27, 2026 at The Barn Christian Fellowship, 590 US-74 BUS, Bostic, NC 28018 with Pastor Sam Henderson officiating. Visitation will be held on Friday, June 26, 2026 from 5:00 pm - 7:00 pm at The Barn Christian Fellowship.
