Christopher Robert Golembieski, 20, of Kings Mountain, NC entered into the presence of Jesus on March 26, 2026 in Chula Vista, CA following a fatal motorcycle accident. Born in Everett, WA, he was the son of Karen Parker of Kings Mountain, NC and Brian Golembieski of Jacksonville, Florida. He was recently engaged to Sarabeth Harmon, whom he met when they were both students at Kings Mountain High School and members of Kings Revue and other vocal groups. Christopher Robert was a proud member of the U.S. Navy, serving with Amphibious Construction Battalion ONE as a Construction Mechanic in Coronado, California. His commanding officer characterized him as "a trusted professional who could always be relied upon to solve complex problems and accomplish the mission." Christopher Robert remained a member of First Baptist Church Kings Mountain and often watched the services online from his base as his duties permitted. Christopher was still a kid at heart, building Lego kits, collecting dad jokes, and playing practical jokes and video games with his siblings and friends, sometimes long distance. An enthusiastic guitar player, Christopher loved learning to play several varieties of music and had recently begun collaborating with his best friend Donovan Lieser in writing original music. He lit up our lives with laughter and music. He was a kind, helpful, loving young man who touched many lives and his family, friends, and shipmates miss him greatly.
