The event will be catered by Chillin' and Grillin' and entertainment will be provided by nationally known Elvis impersonator, Travis Powell. Tickets are $50 each and are on sale in the office at Ross Grove Baptist Church, 1225 Fallston Rd., Shelby, NC.

What: 2026 Antioch Methodist Homecoming
When: 11:00 am, August 23.
Where: Antioch Methodist Church, 205 Antioch Church Rd., Cherryville, NC.
More Info: Former members, friends and relatives of Antioch Methodist Church, Crouse, N.C. are invited to the annual Antioch Homecoming on Sunday, August 23, 2026. The last regular worship service was held the fourth Sunday in May 1964 and homecoming Sunday is the only service held in the church. Guest speaker at the 11 a.m. worship service this year will be Rev. Jerry Lail. Bring a well-packed picnic basket to share in the arbor following the worship service.
A business session will follow lunch at approximately 1:30-2:00 p.m. During the Worship Service a special love offering for the Building and Cemetery Fund will be taken or if you can't be there you can mail your donations. Nar-Anon Support Group: Meets 6:30 pm weekly on Tuesdays at the First Baptist Church, 120 N. Lafayette St., Shelby, NC. Nar-Anon is a support group for those affected by someone else's drug addiction. We meet in the classroom of Dale St., between Sumter and Campbell St. Park on the side of the church or in the alley. Al-Anon Family Groups Support: Al-Anon Family Support Groups support those who are affected by someone else's drinking and drug use.
