More Info: Back to School Bible School, Growing God's Garden: Planting Seeds of Love Polkville Methodist Church will host a free back to school bible school for preschool-fifth graders on Saturday, August 8. With a special celebration and back to school blessing during worship on Sunday, August 9. Join us for Bible stories, music, crafts, and fun as we learn about God's love. Each child will also have the opportunity to receive school supplies to help them prepare for the upcoming school year. All are welcome!

More Info: A Parade of Tables fundraiser for the Lane Downs Memorial Playground. The event will be catered by Chillin' and Grillin' and entertainment will be provided by nationally known Elvis impersonator, Travis Powell. Tickets are $50 each and are on sale in the office at Ross Grove Baptist Church, 1225 Fallston Rd., Shelby, NC.

Nar-Anon Support Group: Meets 6:30 pm weekly on Tuesdays at the First Baptist Church, 120 N. Lafayette St., Shelby, NC. Nar-Anon is a support group for those affected by someone else's drug addiction. We meet in the classroom of Dale St., between Sumter and Campbell St. Park on the side of the church or in the alley.
