Clara Jane Jones, 89, passed away Saturday March 7, 2015 at Hospice at
Wendover.

Born in Cleveland County, on October 1, 1925 she was a daughter of the late
Harm and Maude Smith. She was a homemaker.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Carlo
Jones, one son, Charles Smith; four brothers, Joe Smith, Arnold Smith,
Wallace Smith, and Reid Smith; two sisters, Fannie Belle Pearson and Mae
Jenkins; and an infant sister.

Survivors include two sons and daughters-in-law, Harold & Gail Jones of
Shelby and Ralph & Margie Jones of of Shelby; two daughters, Betty Jones
Henson of Lawndale, and Norma Gibson and husband Jerry of Kings Mountain;
daughter-in-law, Martha Smith; eight grandchildren and numerous great
grandchildren.
