Clarence William Morgan, 54, of Shelby passed away on Wednesday, July 8, 2026, at the Wendover Hospice House in Shelby.

He was born on August 28, 1971, in Cleveland County and was a son of Edna Towery Morgan of Shelby and the late William Forest Morgan, Jr. He was retired from the textile industry and until recently he enjoyed repairing lawnmowers.

In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by a brother, Johnny Price and a sister, Charlotte Morgan.

The family will receive friends on Saturday, July 18, 2026, from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Stamey-Tysinger Funeral Home.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, July 18, 2026, at 2:00 PM at Stamey-Tysinger Funeral Home with the Dr. Kyeth Lindsay.
