The Cleveland County Water Board of Commissioners will have a public hearing on Friday, June 21, 2013 at 9:00am at the Cleveland County Water office in Lawndale, NC. This meeting is for the 2013-2014 budget hearing.
Copies of the 2013-2014 budget will be available at the Cleveland County Water Office in Lawndale, NC.
As the public may already be aware, CCW requested, on April 4, 2012, that the Army Corps of Engineers stop working on the Environmental Impact Statement concerning a proposed reservoir in upper Cleveland County.  Earlier this year (January 2013), CCW contacted the Corps and requested that they re-initiate the EIS process. The Corps are currently working with the Third Party consultants to finalize the Draft Environmental Impact Statement.
