Cole L. Coleman Sr., beloved son of Virginia Black and the late Cole B. Coleman, was born on April 19, 1951. Throughout his 74 years, he embodied strength, loyalty, and love. He peacefully departed this life on October 16, 2025, leaving behind a legacy of compassion, service, and unwavering faith.

He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Delores Coleman; siblings, Linda Best, Tina Coleman, Judy Coleman.

He leaves behind his devoted mother, Virginia Black; children, Andre Coleman, Delathia Coleman (Ira), Cole B. Coleman, III, and Elizabeth Nicole ingram; stepson, William Ingram; siblings, Janie Norris, Hester Cumberlander, James Coleman, and Stanley Coleman; grandchildren, Shyla Dunsford, Kyla Drew Simmons, Kasharie Coleman, Izaiah Coleman, Brielle Coleman, Amilyah Thompson, Dalilah Coleman, Denim Coleman, Patience Agbeti, Ameerah Hobdy, Ammal Hobdy, Iacarra Ingram, Zaire Ingram, Dewayne Ingram, DeShawn Castillo, and Dorian Tobias; great grandchildren, Dallas Dunsford, Dakota Dunsford, Uves Williams, Kalani Castillo, and Bryce Castillo; and a host of extended family and close friends.

Funeral services were held on Saturday, November 1, 2025, at Shiloh Baptist Church in Shelby, NC.
