Communities In Schools held a volunteer fair at Kings Mountain High School on Thursday, February 16, 2012.  The purpose of the volunteer fair was to encourage teenagers to mentor and assist younger students at the elementary to middle school level.  Approximately 100 high school students took an application.
The potential volunteers will fill out the application and return a letter of referral from two different teachers to be considered for a volunteer position with Communities In Schools.  Applications can be turned in to the office at Kings Mountain High School.  Applications are renewed every school year and the same process applies.
