Crest FFA’s “Goat Tenders”
He loves what he does and his FFA students love him. They will tell you: “He deserves all his awards and is more of a friend than a teacher”. “He makes it fun!” One of his students said: “He’s the only reason that I’m here”. The present FFA program at Crest High School is all about goats. Their herd consist of nineteen currently and more are on the way. This program requires a tremendous amount of dedication year round, because the goats must be tended to three times daily. Matt says his job is to teach his students responsibility, new skills and give them lots of self esteem. This Crest FFA program is obviously one of the best. Together, with help from his wife Kaye, Matt Harris is to be congratulated on a job well done. –M. A. Andrews
