Da'shon Lawrence Sims, 29, of Charlotte, NC, passed away on June 22, 2025, in Charlotte, NC. He was born in Cleveland County, NC, on October 18, 1995, to Crystal Lattimore and Matthew Campbell. Da'Shon was named by his aunt, Beatrice Rogers.

Da'shon attended East Mecklenburg High School and spent time in the Job Corp. He loved family gatherings and was known as the family comedian, loving to make people laugh. He was also free hearted and loved kids. He had a special relationship with his deceased Pa Pa and grandfather, David Lattimore. He loved sports with the Green Bay Packers and Golden State Warriors being his favorite teams.

He was preceded in death by his grandfather, David Lattimore and many other close relatives.

He is survived by and leaves precious memories to his mother, Crystal Lattimore; grandmother, Sylvia Lattimore; brother, Buster Campbell; sister, Tamara Campbell; and a host of aunts, uncles, nephews, nieces, cousins, friends and family.

A public viewing for family and friends will be held on Saturday, June 28, 2025, at ST Enloe Memorial Chapel. Enloe Mortuary was in charge of the services.
