 Mrs. Daisy Grigg Cabaniss-Elmore, 84, of Bostic, NC, formerly of Shelby, passed away Friday, July 9, 2010. Services were held at Cecil M. Burton Funeral Home Chapel. Burial followed in Buffalo Baptist Church Cemetery. 

Mrs. Elmore was preceded in death by first husband, Rev. S. Guy Cabaniss; her second husband, Frank Elmore; her parents, Frank and Emma Hinson Grigg; and many beloved brothers and sisters.

She is survived by 1 son, Keith Cabaniss and wife Judy of Hardy, VA; 1 brother, Toye Grigg and wife Mae of Kings Mountain, NC; 1 sister, Bertha Lackey of Kings Mountain, NC; 3 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren; many loving nieces and nephews; and brothers and sisters-in-law.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to: Buffalo Baptist Church, 1410 Buffalo Church Rd., Shelby, NC 28150.
