Dale Allen Shull, age 59, of Cherryville, passed away Sunday, March 22, 2026, at his residence. He was born February 19, 1967, in Broward County, Florida, to the late William C. Shull, Jr. and the late Barbara Ann Vale Shull.

Dale enjoyed farmwork, including milking cows, feeding the animals, and raising chickens. He recently began raising rabbits, which he named "Alice" and "Chains", after his favorite rock band. Dale loved listening to music, fishing, and grilling. He was a happy man, who was always smiling.

In addition to his parents, Dale was preceded in death by his brother, William Edward Shull; and niece, Carla Shull.

Survivors include his life partner of 32 years, Sherry Gardner; brother, Bryan Shull (Camille Huffman); sister, Michelle Shull (Stanley Coleman); son, Ben Edwards; nieces and nephews, Brittany, Little Ed, Jessica, Mark, and Luke; his dog and baby girl, Precious; best friend, "Hook"; and numerous other great nieces and nephews.

A Memorial Service will be held at 2:00 PM, Friday, March 27, 2026, at Carpenter-Porter Funeral Home, with Rev. Dr. Matt Thomas officiating. The family will receive friends from 1:00 PM until 1:45 PM, prior to the service at the funeral home. Burial will be private.
