Cherryville - Mrs. Dale Leatherwood Miller, 88 of S. Depot Street, passed
away Wednesday, January 4, 2017 at her residence.

Born February 19, 1928 in Haywood County, she was a daughter of the late
Hiram Leatherwood and Cora Burgess Leatherwood. She was of the Baptist
Faith.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Herman
L. Miller; a son-in-law, Gene Willis and a brother, Don Leatherwood.

Survivors include a daughter, Kathy Willis of Vale; a granddaughter, Regina
Sanders of Bessemer City; two great grandchildren, Kaylee Willis and James
Paul Sanders; two brothers, Nease Leatherwood and Elmer Leatherwood both of
Newport, TN and a sister, Lucille Bryson of Hendersonville.

Visitation will be 12:45 PM to 1:45 PM, Tuesday at Stamey-Cherryville
Funeral Home

A funeral service will be 2:00 PM, Tuesday at Stamey-Cherryville Funeral
Home Chapel with Rev. Bobby Farmer officiating.

Burial will follow in the City Memorial Cemetery.
