Daniel Stanley Reynolds

Mr. Daniel Stanley Reynolds, 69, formerly of Shelby, died on Sunday, January 16, 2011, at Mercy Main Hospital in Charlotte, NC. A native of Iredell County, North Carolina, he was the son of the late Daniel Vance and Ruby West Reynolds. He was a retired claims supervisor of Liberty Mutual Group Inc and a member of the CPCU Society. Mr. Reynolds served as a veteran in the United States Army.

Mr. Reynolds is survived by his wife Pauline Hamrick Hoover Reynolds of Charlotte; two daughters, Lisa Monroe husband Dr. Kevin Monroe of Charlotte, Paige Reynolds of Charlotte; a step-son, Anthony Hoover of Shelby; a step-daughter, Tracey Hoover Brown of Charleston, SC; six grandchildren, Mary Elise Monroe, Karina Jones, Sarah Alice Brown, Nicholas brown, Henry Brown, Memorie Hoover.

A memorial service celebrating the life of Mr. Reynolds will be at 3:00pm Wednesday, January 19, 2011 at the Chapel of Cecil M Burton Funeral Home. The Rev. Craig Langston will be officiating. The family will receive friends from 2:00 – 3:00pm prior to the service.
