It is with our deepest sorrow; we announce the passing of Danny Ray Williams--a beloved husband, father, son, brother, nephew, and loyal friend. Danny passed away peacefully on October 6, 2026, at the age of 64.

Born on December 8, 1961, to JoAnn and the late Larston Williams, Danny was an unforgettable character. He proudly marched to his own drum, living life completely on his own terms right up until the very end.

Though he lived fiercely on his own terms, his heart belonged to his family. Danny was preceded in death by his beloved sister Donna, and brother Keith. Danny is survived by his loving wife, Susie, and his cherished daughter, Sarah. He also leaves behind his mother, JoAnn; his sisters, Sherry and Linda; and his aunts, Vicky, Barbara and Peggy, with whom he shared a deeply special bond. Danny's memory will be cherished by a large, loving extended family of aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends whom he loved dearly and impacted deeply throughout his life.

A funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM Friday, October 16, 2026, in the chapel of Cecil Burton Funeral Home & Crematory, located at 106 Cherryville Rd, Shelby, NC 28150. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
