David Nicholas Ledford, 33, of 2224-1 Cleveland Avenue, Grover, passed away
Saturday, May 7, 2016 at Carolinas HealthCare System - Cleveland in Shelby.

He was born in Mecklenburg County on October 20, 1982 to his father Harold
Dennis Ledford of Grover and to his mother the late Rhonda Faye Ellis
Ledford. He was a member of Trinity Pentecostal Holiness Church.

In addition to his mother he is preceded in death by his grandparents,
William Ellis, Raymond Ledford and Ruby Ledford.

In addition to his father he is survived by his grandparent, Laurine Ellis
of Grover; two uncles, John Ledford and Roger Ledford; six aunts, Wanda
Hamrick, Lisa Philbeck, Tracy Duryea, Martha Wease, Berdie Tessneer, & Kathy
Mellon; cousins, Tony Yancey, Melanie Yancey, Katrina Cook, Wayne Ellis, and
Stephanie Philbeck.

The family will receive friends on Tuesday, May 10, 2016 from 6:00 PM to
7:30 PM at Stamey-Tysinger Funeral Home of Fallston. Condolences may be

The funeral will be on Wednesday at 2:00 PM at Redeemed Pentecostal Holiness
Church with the Rev. Coye Sanders officiating. The body will be placed in
the church thirty minutes prior to the service.

The burial will follow in the church cemetery.
