Dean Davis Jr., a devoted family man and pillar of his community, passed away leaving behind a legacy of love, service, and dedication. He was born on August 1, 1935, in Cleveland County, North Carolina, to the late Oliver and Cora Davis.

Dean was a man who deeply loved his family. His life was centered around those he cared for, and he was known for his strength, kindness, and unwavering support. He created a lasting impact not only within his family but also throughout his community.

He built a meaningful legacy at Uptown 66, where he faithfully served his community for many years. Dean was more than a familiar face--he was a steady presence, a friend to many, and someone people could always count on. His dedication to serving others will be remembered by all who had the privilege of knowing him.

Dean was preceded in death by his parents, Oliver and Cora Davis; his wives, Essie Mae Davis and Barbara Davis; his children, Ray Davis, Bernice McDaniel, and Wanda Kee; as well as four brothers, four sisters, and two sons-in-law.

He is survived by his son, Keith Davis (wife, Star); daughter-in-law, Jeannie Davis; and his sister, Sarah Grand. He also leaves behind a large and loving family, including his grandchildren: Jim Davis (wife, Caroline), Amy Lunsford, Jennifer Styles, Brian Davis, Wendy McCurry (husband, Chris), Matt Davis (wife, Denise), Brandi Zimbelman, Johnathan Kee, and Christopher Kee.

Dean was also blessed with many great-grandchildren: Jason Davis, Beau Davis, Noah Lunsford, Summer Barnes (husband, Jordan), Autumn Phillips (husband, Danny), Madison Davis, Jackson Kee, Mason Kee, Maya Davis, Colton Kee, Tinsley Kee, and Madelyn Davis.

He is further survived by great-great-grandchildren, along with many nieces and nephews who will continue to honor his memory.

Dean's life was one of purpose, love, and service. His legacy will live on through the family he cherished and the community he so faithfully served.
