Mr. Delbert Lawson Rikard, 74, of 6959 Casar Rd., Lawndale, NC, passed away Sunday, November 28,  2010. Services were held at New Home United Methodist Church.
Mr. Rikard served our country in the U.S. Marines.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Charles Monroe Rikard and Olive Donna Webb Rikard.
He is survived by his wife of 54 years, Carolyn Sue Walker Rikard; 2 sons, Gregory Scott Rikard and wife Suanne of Casar, and Marty Charles Rikard and wife Vickie of Lincolnton; 1 daughter, Shelia Avery of Lincolnton; 1 brother, Monroe Rikard of Lincolnton; 8 grandchildren; and 5 great-grandchildren.
