Dolores Beal Bradley, age 79, resident of 419 Goforth Road, Kings Mountain, NC went to be with the Lord on March 5, 2013 at Wendover Hospice, Shelby, NC. She was born in Gaston Co. NC to the late Jake Beal and Edna Crisp Beal. Mrs. Bradley was a member of Oak Grove Baptist Church where she sang in the choir. A homemaker, former employee of Southern Bell, and teacher at New Hope Baptist Church kindergarten. She was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother who loved and cherished her family.
SURVIVORS: Husband of 59 years: James “Jim” M. Bradley, Kings Mtn. NC Son: Jimmy Bradley and wife Tracy, Kings Mtn. NC Daughters: Karon Sturgill and husband Tony, Walnut Cove, NC Renee Shockley and husband Doug, Whitesburg, TN Special Cousin: Steve Deaver and wife Jane, Simpsonville, SC 8 Grandchildren: Brad, Robbie, Casey, Michael, Allison, Jessica, Chris, and Andy. 8 Great Grandchildren: Micah, Piper, Grady, Lauren, Carson, Hayden, Lucas, and Zoey.
FUNERAL SERVICE: Oak Grove Baptist Church, Friday, March 8, 2013 3:00 P.M. Rev. Travis Northcutt and Rev. Ron Caulder, officiating.
VISITATION: 1:30 – 2:30 P.M. Friday, March 8, 2013 prior to the service in the sanctuary of the church.
INTERMENT: Mountain Rest Cemetery, Kings Mountain, North Carolina
