Doris Irene Whaley Williams, age 86, died Wednesday November 25, 2015 at Hospice Wendover. Born in Huntington New York on August 16, 1929, she was the daughter of the late John Wesley Whaley Jr., and Frieda Holsten Whaley. She was a loving mother, an avid reader, and enjoyed both knitting and crocheting in her spare time. Doris is preceded in death by her husband John L. Williams and her sister Annabel Moffat.

Doris is survived by two sons, Marty and Bill Williams; two daughters Barbara Williams and husband Don, and Christine Palmatier and husband Christopher Sr.; a brother John Wesley Whaley III; and one granddaughter, Gwendolyn Girsdansky.
