Dorothy Hazel Wray, 83, of 265 Wren Wray Road, passed away Wednesday, June 7th, 2017, at Mary Black Health System - Gaffney.

Born in Braselton, Georgia, she was the wife of Marvin Wray, her husband of 63 years, and the daughter of the late Marvin Cash and Annebelle Phegin Cash. Mrs.Wray worked in textiles and was a member of Faith Baptist Church of Shelby.

In addition to her husband, Mrs. Wray is survived by one daughter, Tina Wray of Blacksburg; two brothers, Paul Cash and Ken Cash; three sisters, Reba Davis, Eloise Hamrick, and Jenny Dennis; four grandchildren, Brandon Wray, Timothy Pennington, Cheyenne Carter, and Marah Cash; one brother-in-law, Ken Wray and wife, Judy, and one sister-in-law, Margie Ledbetter.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by brothers Hal Cash, Herman Cash, Chester Cash, and Boyce Cash and one sister, Peggy Sue Cash.

The family will receive friends on Saturday, June 10th, 2017, from 1:00 pm - 2:00 pm at Gordon Mortuary, 400 West Cherokee Street, Blacksburg, South Carolina 29702. Funeral services will immediately follow at 2:00 pm with Rev. Gregg Martin officiating. Interment will follow at Clingman Memorial Gardens. Mike Ledbetter, Ricky Ledbetter, Jimmy Billings, Kenneth Wray, Timmy Pennington, and Jerry Blankenship will serve as pallbearers.
