Dr. Ian Patrick Stamp, 68, of Shelby, NC passed away on Tuesday, September 29, 2026 at Wendover Hospice House in Shelby. He was born on November 18, 1957 in Kingston, Jamaica to the late Enos Stamp and the late Maria Louise Levy Stamp.

Dr. Stamp deeply loved his family and cherished every moment spent with them. He made it a priority to attend his children's sporting and academic events, always encouraging them to follow their dreams. His unwavering dedication to his family will be treasured forever. He leaves to cherish his memory and carry on his legacy: His loving wife of 42 years, Marilyn; his sons, Christopher (Brianah) and Nicholas (Danika); his three beloved grandchildren; his siblings, Annette and Claude; his godchildren, Lucinda and Phillip; his in-laws, Linda, Michelle, Andrea, and Gary; and a host of family, friends, and loved ones.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, October 10, 2026 at Shiloh Baptist Church, Shelby, NC. Burial took place at Sunset Cemetery in Shelby.
