Mrs. Earlene Blanton Earls, 83, of Shelby, NC, passed away on Tuesday, January 3, 2012. Services were held at Cleveland Funeral Services Chapel. Burial was held in Cleveland Memorial Park.

Mrs. Blanton was preceded in death by her husband,  Archie Coyou Earls; her parents, Saul Newton Blanton and Mammie Irene Blanton; brothers, Frank, David, Rayford, Burrel, Etoise Blanton; sister, Thelma Irene Camp and granddaughter, Angela Childers.

She is survived by sons, Kenneth Earls and wife Deborah Blake of Bessemer City; Walter Earls of Shelby and Donald Earls and Diane of Mooresboro; daughters, Glenda Campbell and Fred Parrales of Mooresboro; Brenda Earls of Shelby; brothers, Paul E. Blanton of Gastonia; sisters, Doris Holder of Mt. Holly; Ruby Parris of Blacksburg, SC; 9 grandchildren and 23 great grandchildren.
