Eddie Dean Fulbright, 76, of Connelly Springs, passed away on Tuesday, May 5, 2026, at Forsyth Medical Center, Winston Salem.



He was born on February 19, 1950, in Catawba County and was the son of the late Deverd Dean and Rachel Louise Lutz Fulbright. He was a retired construction superintendent at Hickory Construction Company and a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church, Newton. During his spare time, he enjoyed hunting, fishing and watching his granddaughters play softball.



In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by two sisters, Christine Burroughs and Margaret Sain.



Eddie is survived by his son, Dustin Fulbright and wife Rachel; daughters, Amy Morton and husband Steve, Kelly House and husband Wayne and Carie Fulbright; a sister, Patsy Travis; seven grandchildren, Emma Fulbright, Olivia Fulbright, Katie Morton, Caroline Morton, Corbin House, Caden House, Cooper House and special friend, Fran Owens.



A private celebration of life will be held at a later time.
