Eddie Loyd Pendleton, 77, of Crestland Drive, Shelby passed away on September 15, 2026 at his residence.

Eddie was born on July 11, 1949 in Cleveland County, to the late Charles Ray Pendleton and Gladys Margaret Greene Pendleton. He retired after 42 years of service from PPG Industries and was a member of Christian Fellowship Church.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Linda Craig Pendleton and infant son, Michael Loyd Pendleton.

Eddie is survived by two daughters, Jennifer Pendleton Osborne and husband, Shane of Shelby and Margaret Pendleton Hudson and husband, Ricky of Casar; brother, George Ray Pendleton and wife, Dian of Shelby; sister, Gail Curtis and husband, Mike of Valdese; seven grandchildren, Taylor Robbins, Dylan Robbins and wife, Brandy and Nicholas Robbins and wife, Felicia, Whitley, Amanda, Peyton and Emma Osborne and seven great-grandchildren, Liam, Easton, Ollie, Hunter, August, Lorilei and Zaleigh and several nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends on Saturday, September 19, 2026 from 2:00pm to 3:00pm at Christian Fellowship Church.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Saturday, September 19, 2026 at 3:00pm at Christian Fellowship Church with Rev. Lloyd Hunt officiating.

Burial will be private.
