Edwina "Wendy" Faith Willis, 59, of Matthew Miller Road, Vale passed away on Sunday, November 23, 2025 at Catawba Valley Medical Center.

Wendy was born on October 7, 1966 in Cleveland County, to Jacqueline "Jackie" Heavner Willis and the late Ed Willis, Jr. She was retired from the North Carolina Department of Transportation and was a member of Mt. Vernon Baptist Church.

In addition to her mother, she is survived by her siblings, Shane Willis and wife, Remonia of Lincolnton, Beth Herman and husband, Don of Hickory, Jane Willis of the home, Tabatha Taylor and husband, Barry of Vale and Kerry Willis and wife, Jan of Vale; nieces and nephews, Amy Sims and husband, Kelly, Brad Rhoney and wife, Stacey, Curt Rhoney, DruAnna Conway and husband, A.J., Jason Willis and wife, Leslie, Dusty Willis and Desiree Luckey and husband, Justin; great nieces and nephews, Sky (best friend) and River Jade (little best friend) Barrett, Sophia, MaKenna, Landon, Myla and her God son, Ethan Gantt.

The family will receive friends on Friday, November 28, 2025 from 6:00pm to 8:00pm at Mt. Vernon Baptist Church.

A funeral service will be held on Saturday, November 29, 2025 at 2:00pm at Mt. Vernon Baptist Church with the Rev. Jeremy Mahaffey officiating.

Burial will follow in Mt. Vernon Baptist Church Cemetery.
