Mr. Elijah Richard Brown, 60, of Kings Mountain, NC, passed away on December 15, 2025, at VIA Health Partners, (formerly Wendover Hospice House) in Shelby. Elijah was born in Shelby, NC on March 6, 1965 to Richard and Eunice Brown.

Elijah leaves to cherish precious memories to his parents; son, Elijah Isaiah Brown of Greenville, North Caroline; sister, Evelene Elaine Brown of Kings Mountain, North Carolina; brother, Elgin Lloyd Brown of Shelby, North Carolina; grandchildren, Elijah, Carson, and Nehemiah; special friends, Darin Brown and Sherry Addison; and a host of uncles, aunts, nephews, nieces, cousins, and many other loved ones.

Funeral services were held on Monday, December 22, 2025, at Lawndale First Baptist Church, Lawndale, NC with burial in the church cemetery.
