Ellen Leona Wilson-Adams, 99, was born October 14, 1925, to the late Venus Avester Wilson, and Panola Moorehead-Wilson. She transitioned from earth to glory on September 3, 2025.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 38 years, William (Camel) Adams Sr.; daughter, Ella Mae Adams; two sons, Glenwood Adams Sr. and William Adams Jr.; sister, Annie Mae Wilson Fuller; stepmother, Christina Wilson; two stepsisters, Lones Sanders and Nina McCluney.

Left to treasure her fond memories are her two sons, Aubrey Adams and Robert Adams; daughter, Mary A. Epps (James); two daughters-in-love, Rhonda Adams and Diane Adams. Ellen had fourteen grandchildren,a very special grandson, Chad Adams;39great grandchildren; 21 great-great grandchildren; andspecial friends, Fannie Mae Sanders, Carrie Smith, Shelia Logan and Doris Hopper; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Funeral services were held on Thursday, September 11, 2025 at Ebenezer Baptist Church, Kings Mountain, NC
