Elvin Williams Webber was born October 27, 1955 in Cleveland County, NC to the late Ernest and Lottie Mae Cannedy Webber. He transitioned peacefully on Sunday, March 1, 2026 in Baltimore County, Maryland.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Ernest and Lottie Webber; siblings: Walter Cannedy, Doris Poston, Woodrow Webber, Marshall Webber and Larry Webber.

Elvin is survived by his loving wife, Carol Hawk Webber; stepson, Ashley Ryan Hawk and grandson, Ryan Alexander Hawk of Charlotte, NC; his brothers and sisters, Wayne Webber (Mert) of Forest City, NC, Selma Webber of Columbia, SC, Kawana Surratt (Sherman) of Shelby, NC and Kelvin Webber (Rosa) of Gaffney, SC; and many beloved nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, cousins and friends who will all cherish his memory.

A memorial service to celebrate his life was held on Saturday, March 21, 2026 at S. T. Enloe Memorial Chapel, Shelby, NC.
