Ethelee Smith Wright, 87 of Charolais Drive, Fallston passed away September
7, 2016 at Peak Resources in Cherryville.

Born November 4, 1928 in Cleveland County, she was a daughter of the late
Menry Lee Smith and Lola Murray Smith. She was a co-owner and operator of
Wright's Jewelry Store, Fallston, and was also previously employed at Stamey
Stores. Ethelee was a member of Friendship United Methodist Church where
she founded the Friendship Thrift Store. She was an avid seamstress for
family and neighbors and also enjoyed western square dancing but truly loved
spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Ernest
Cecil Wright; three brothers, Carl Smith, Hubert Smith and Milton Smith and
a sister, Menola Williams.

Survivors include a son, Neil Wright and wife, Jill of New Jersey; two
daughters, Karen Bess and husband, Tommy and Suzanne Lee and husband, Jimmy
all of Fallston; sister, Naomi Dedmon of Fallston; six grandchildren, Dr.
Wyndee Tarter and husband, Dr. David Tarter, Angie Milne and husband,
Dennis, Jaimee Ingram and husband, Ronnie, Jennifer Beatty and husband,
Brian, Kyle Wright and Hayley Wright and ten great grandchildren, Emma,
Ethan, Avery, and Eli Tarter, Andrew and Owen Milne, Mason and Colby Ingram,
Brayden and Bryson Beatty.

Visitation will be immediately following the service at the church.

A funeral service will be 2:00 PM on Sunday at Friendship United Methodist
Church with Rev. Neal Brower officiating.

Burial will follow in Rose Hill Memorial Park, Fallston, officiated by Rev.
Neal Brower and Pastor Dale Pederson.
