SHELBY - Mr. Farrell Ross, 78, passed away at Cleveland Regional Medical Center on Thursday, February 4, 2016. He is predeceased by his parents, Sherman and Irene McNeilly Ross; a sister, Jackie Pierce; a son, Donnie Sanders and a grandson, Rocky Pearson.
Farrell, was a native of Cleveland County, a Navy Veteran and retired from Fiber Industries Inc/Hearst Celanese. He enjoyed being on his computer, reading and camping.
He is survived by his wife, Patricia Ross of the home; daughter, Sherry Burton (Charles) of Columbia, SC; son, Johnny Sanders of Waco, NC; daughter, Tammy Pearson of Shelby; Brother Don Ross (Sue); numerous nieces and nephews.
A service of remembrance will be held on Monday, February 8, 2016 from 5-7 p.m. at Ross Grove Baptist Church Fellowship Hall, 1225 Fallston Road, Shelby, North Carolina 28150.
