SHELBY – Mrs. Faye Deaton Morgan, 59, of 142 Jones Rd., died Sun. Oct. 28th, 2012 at her home.  A native of Cleveland County, she was the daughter of the late Howard Yates and Hannah Blanton Deaton.  She retired from PPG, and was a member of Flint Hill Baptist Church.   Faye loved her grandchildren and being active in their lives.

 

PRECEDED: In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her twin sister, Johnny Raye Deaton.

 

SURVIVED:  She is survived by her son, Bobby Darrell Smith and wife Debbie of Shelby; daughter, Barbara Kaye Coggins and husband David of Boiling Springs; sister, Linda Kaye Ledford of Boiling Springs; two brothers, Steve Deaton of Shelby, Mike Deaton and wife Patty of Boiling Springs; six grandchildren, Caleb and Cody Smith, Tyler Melton, Morgan and Heidi Coggins, and Aimee Peeler.; special friends, Roy and Karen Hamm of Ellenboro; special niece, Sherri Ledford of Boiling Springs; and many other nieces and nephews.

 

SERVICES:  Wednesday, 1:30pm, at Flint Hill Baptist Church

 

VISITATION:  The family will receive friends Tuesday, 6-8pm, at Clay-Barnette Funeral Home, and other times at her son’s home, 142-1 Jones Rd., Shelby.

BURIAL:   Cleveland Memorial Park
