Mrs. Florence Hicks Wright of Shelby, NC passed away on Thursday, December 8, 2011. Services were held at Cleveland Funeral Services Chapel. Burial was held in Sunset Cemetery.

Mrs. Wright was preceded in death by her husband, Colon Wright; her parents, Charles D. Hicks and Lorie Walker Hicks; her daughters, Barbara Ann and infant Sheila; one brother, Hal Hicks and one sister, Dinah Blickley.

She is survived by her son, Richard Wright and wife Sherry of Shelby; 7 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren and 3 great-great grandchildren.
