Forrest Ridings, a devoted husband, loving father, proud grandfather, retired Baptist minister, and respected paint contractor, passed away peacefully on December 3, 2025, at the age of 74. He lived a full and meaningful life, marked by faith, hard work, and an unwavering love for his family.

Born on January 28, 1951, Forrest dedicated many years to serving the Lord as a Baptist minister, touching countless lives with his compassion, wisdom, and steady encouragement. His ministry reflected his deep belief in grace, kindness, and the importance of loving others well. After retiring from the pulpit, he continued to serve his community through his reputable paint contracting work, where he became known not only for his craftsmanship but also for the honesty and care he brought to every job.

Forrest is survived by his loving wife, Robin Ridings; his daughters, Leslie Pagliari (Kevin Pagliari, husband) and Kacie Ridings; his sons, Travis Ridings, Trent Ridings, and Jonathan Ridings; his brother Billy Ridings and his sister Joyce Teseniar.

He was a devoted grandfather to Allayah Ridings, Kiana Mullins, Alex Pagliari, Tyler Fisher, Dallas Ridings, Matthew Ridings, Madalyn Clark, Gavyn Leavitt, Noah Nelson, and Adrian Miller, each of whom brought immense joy to his life.

A celebration of life service will be held at 2:00 PM Friday, December 12, 2025 in the chapel of Cecil M. Burton Funeral Home & Crematory.

He will be remembered for his gentle spirit, his steady guidance, and the way he made everyone around him feel valued and loved. His legacy lives on through his family, his ministry, and the many lives he touched along the way.

A life lived in service, love, and faith. He will be deeply missed and forever cherished.
