Francis Grant Linderman


Francis Grant Linderman, 78 of 1001 Phifer Road passed away peacefully surrounded by her family and friends and wonderful caregivers from Summit Place and Cleveland County Hospice on Monday, May 26, 2014. a native of Union County SC, she was born December 11, 1935, daughter of the late W.A. and Bleeka Sigmon Grant. Everyone who knew Frances loved her and she loved them, she was a very outgoing and loving person who love to make someone smile and have a good. She adored her family beyond words and if you had a friend in Frances, you had a special friend indeed. She loved not with her heart but her whole being, truly a special lady who is now with her son and beloved husband in the place she longed to go for so long, her eternal heavenly home, she is extremely missed already by everyone.

PRECEDED: In addition to her parents, she preceded in death by her Husband, John Broadus Linderman, Sr.; her son, Charles Grant Linderman; and one sister, Anita Grant Stevens.

SURVIVED: She is survived by one son, John Linderman and wife Celia of Cary, NC; two daughters, Teresa Caldwell and husband David and Leigh Hord and husband Randy all of Kings Mountain; two sisters, Nancy Grant Smith and Freda Grant Howe both of Chester, SC; many grandchildren, Pastor D. Carey Caldwell, II and wife Amanda of York, SC, Wesley Grant Caldwell and wife Brittany of Gastonia, John Hunter Caldwell of Kings Mountain, Dusty Lynn Horn and wife Alisha of Kings Mountain, Casey Lee Hord and wife Laura of Easley, SC, Amanda Hord Hensley and husband Rev. Chris of Ellenboro, Charles Grant Linderman, II and wife Averi of Raleigh, John Hunter Linderman and wife Amanda of Apex, NC; Great grandchildren, Carrigan and Luke Caldwell, Eli and Tucker Caldwell, Natalie and Abigail Hord, Georgia Mac Linderman.

SERVICES: A funeral service will be held Thursday 3pm at Oakview Baptist Church in Kings Mountain

VISITATION: The family will receive friend from 12:30 -2:30 before the service at the church.

CLERGY: Pastor D. Carey Caldwell, II, Rev. Chris Hensley, her son John Linderman, and Rev. Richard Brown

BURIAL: Burial will immediately follow in the church cemetery
