Fred Cline II, 53, passed away on Monday, March 23, 2026, in Greenville, South Carolina. A native of Cleveland County, he was born on February 5, 1973. Fred worked various jobs in and around Cleveland County but mostly enjoyed working alongside his father at Cline Roofing LLC.

Survivors include his daughter, Braxton Cline; his father and stepmother, Fred and Mary Cline; mother and stepfather, Darlene and Terry Rains; sister, Kelly Mootz (Matt); stepbrother, Dennis Lankford (Elizabeth), and their daughter, Gwinn; 4 nieces, 1 nephew; and 6 great-nieces and great-nephews.

The memorial service will be held at 2:00 PM on Sunday, April 12, 2026 at Bethel Baptist Church with Dr. Tim Simms officiating. The family will receive friends at the church for one hour prior to the service time.
