Fred Jessie Parker, 68, of North Brook III School Road, Vale passed away on Saturday, December 20, 2025 at his home.



Fred was born on November 5, 1957 in Cleveland County, and was a son of the late Ralph C. Parker and Earlene Virginia Houser Parker. He was retired from Carolina Furniture Mart and was a member of Mt. Vernon Baptist Church.



In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by three brothers, James F. Parker, Ralph Parker, Jr., and Tom O. Parker and a sister, Juanita M. Parker.



Fred is survived by his wife of years thirty-five years, Barbara Parker; daughter, Jenna Shull and husband Dillion, sister Muriel Speagle and husband Bill of Vale and two grandchildren, Emma Shull and Parker Shull both of Shelby.



A graveside service will be held on Friday, December 26, 2025, at 11:00 AM at Mt. Vernon Baptist Church with the Rev. Matt Thomas officiating. The family will greet friends following the service.
