Frederick Ward Carmack Brown, Jr., 84, passed away on Sunday, August 22, 2021 at his home.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Fred W. Brown, Sr. and Ruby Griffith Brown.

He leaves behind to cherish his memory his wife, Linda T. Brown; daughters, Sydney Brown (Kevin Jennings), Whitney Corrigan (Mike); grandchildren, Bryce, Adam, and Ethan Corrigan and Ella Brown; brother, David Brown (Debbie); and multiple nieces and nephews.

Fred was a Yoga teacher for 45 years, the former President of Foursquare Software in Hendersonville, NC, a former Engineering Systems Analyst at IBM Corporation, and had a Master's in Nuclear Engineering from UT-Knoxville. He loved learning and studying on a wide variety of topics. He enjoyed rock climbing, running, and riding his motorcycle in his younger years. He contributed to multiple charities focusing on the environment, marginalized populations, and spiritual pursuits. Most of all, he loved practicing yoga with his friends, students, and teachers and spending time with his family.

A Private Family Service is planned.
