Shady Oak Ramblers

Cooks stayed up all night cooking BBQ for the huge crowd that came out Saturday, November 8th to support Friendship Masonic Lodge #388’s annual fund raiser. Proceeds go to the Masonic Home For Children in Oxford and the Eastern Star Home. This year’s event was well on the way to producing over $6.000.
You can’t have a good BBQ without great hush puppies. Harry Gold is pictured cranking batter from the hush puppy dispenser. He said there were so many made they were no way to keep a count.
The Shady Oak Ramblers played some good ole bluegrass music at this year’s Lodge #388 event. The proceeds go to the Masonic Home For Children in Oxford and the Eastern Star Home.
